Tuesday, January 01, 2008 Hey guys!! I don't know how often you visit this blog but here I am to post the first post for the year 2008! Well, what a year it has been for you and I, I'm sure. Because it was your first year in secondary school and my A level year. So how has it been for all of you? Secondary school is indeed different from primary school right? Well I hope you all have adapted well in your new school and please do not allow what happened last year to bring you down this year. This year is a new year, no matter how badly you think you performed, do not think that it's going to be the same this year. Just to share with you, I didn't do well in sec 1 at all, top 40 but at the 30 something. I woke up after sec 1 and I worked hard in sec 2. And there my grades picked up and I never saw anything lesser than a B and I got 13 in level at the end of the year. I'm saying this to encourage you that you can achieve your goals when you set your heart to do it and when you put your faith and trust in Him. Of course for those who did well, keep it up! As this is the start of another year in secondary school, I pray that it will be a fulfilling and blessed year for you. Remember that God has conquered for you and in Him, you are MORE than a conqueror. When you face your darkest moments, proclaim His victory over your situation and you WILL conquer! Press on my dear members! I pray that your walk with Him will be even closer and sweeter each day as well. The Lord is always close, always watching and always protecting. Seek his counsel, refuge. Our Lord is faithful, He never sleeps nor slumbers! All things work out for those who love Him! Claim a victorious 2008 my friends! In His love and mine, Serena |
