HELLO! :D

as you all know that we're now going thru a new topic called 'DumbDumb' right?
hmmm, let's do some re-cap about it.
PART 1 :

we talked about why was it dumb to rebel. reason is because Lucifer was created by God & he has less power than God. rmb the 3Rs? (of course it's not about recycling.)

first R - remember who God is.
second R - respond to God's love.
third R - regonize that you cannot overpower God.

What does this 3 points mean?

first point - remember who God is.
---> It means that we must always remember God at all times, for what He had done for us (by dying on the cross for our sins.)
second point - respond to God's love.
---> We must always love God & spend time reading His word & talking to Him & we do things to please God to show that we love him. Obedience, Respect is also a point of pleasing God.
third point - regonize that we cannot overpower God.
---> We cannot think that we're stronger than God or much more better than God.

PART 2 :

CG:

We talked about the downfall of Lucifer & the consequenses of his (Lucifer) failed rebellion.
Let's talk about the downfall of Lucifer first.
---> It was all because of pride. Pride entered his heart.
---> Pride breeds quarrels, it hardens heart & it's opposed by God.
Here are some verse that you can read on.
Isaiah 13:11-13, Proverbs 11:2, Proverbs 16:18, Proverbs 21:4, Proverbs 29:23, Numbers 20:10-13, Proverbs 13:10, Daniel 5:20, Obadiah 1:3, James 4:6, Proverbs 16:18

Now let's talk about his consequenses of his failed rebellion.
---> He (Lucifer) lost his relationship with God. He also lost his heavenly position, angelic powers & was booted out of Heaven. Lastly, he was exiled to Earth & sentenced to eternal damnation at the end of the age.

SERVICE:

Pastor Pacer talked to us about the story of Esau.
You can read thru the story in Genesis 25:29-34.
The birthright qns:
1. had 2 shares of his father's estate.
2. had leadership over clan.

Lessons that we must learn:

1. We must be content with what we have now.
2. Evaluate the consequences of your actions.
3. (added point) Don't take things for granted.

Lastly, remember that what you do implicated on your love ones. (:
